When posting a comment in response to your "test" thread, I got an error, see image.  Also I notice that I don't get the rich editor when replying to a post.  It only seems to be available with a new topic.  Is that intended?  -- James

PS, when I first tried, it allowed me to paste the image into my topic and the Preview showed it.  But when I saved, it was not there.  This time I put it on a web page and pointed at the URL which seems to work but is inconvenient.

Hello James, yes, just exploring now how to enable rich editing in comments. The error was on my side, repairing it now.

Dear James,
Our IT investigated the problem and suggested a bugfix to the Drupal community. Meanwhile, with a local workaround, the error should be gone. Thank you very much for signaling it.
