Implementation of Mean Free Path Variation

Hello,

I see that the possibility of setting a pressure gradient or a different mean free path for different regions for the background gas feature has been discussed here and here before.

My question would be, is there at the moment a concrete plan to implement something like this?

I would also have a need for a spatially varying mean free path (ideally continually/with a pressure gradient but setting a distinct mean free path for different structures would be good start).

Hi Leo!

I am Petar, one of the MolFlow developers at CERN.

We are currently not developing the use case you described. However, there is always the option for external users to contribute to MolFlow and to make the contribution part of the public MolFlow release.
