Insert geometry Molflow 2_9_28

Hi Molflow team
I can’t import the attached stl file to Molflow 2_9_28 Window using File / Insert geometry / To current structure. This does not complete but just hangs.
It works fine in Molflow 2_9_27

Hello Matt, i tried on both mac and windows and inserting worked as expected:

I created a quick pipe, then used File->insert->current structure and chose mm as units.

Can you tell me step by step what hangs Molflow?

Hello Matthew, long time no see. Hope things are going well with Diamond 2.0.
I think it is a problem of file format. If I try to load it into 2.9.28 I get a file format error, it doesn’t hang up. Also, if I click on the file the viewer opens it but if I try to save it there’s only an option “binary”… Molflow+ takes only ASCII-format STLs, as far as I remember.

I can’t reproduce this with inserting to empty geometry either.
Works as expected on Windows and Mac:

In reply to what you said, no app should ever be able to mess up Windows UI - I believe you might have a display driver issue or a faulty OpenGL implementation.

I even deleted molflow.cfg to reset Molflow to its out-of-the box state, but I couldn’t reproduce it. Sorry.
