Dear all
First of all I’d like to thank you for your effort developing and maintining the Molflow+ software. I discovered Molflow+ this week and got into it very quickly.
When saving and loading models I discovered following bug, which occurs with all models using parameters (e.g. to control outgassing or pumping in a time-dependant way).
Following happens:
1. I create a geometry (e.g. a simple tubular chamber which will be pumped out via a narrow tube). Then pump-down time from a given initial pressure is modeled, using two parameters ('Gas' for the initial gas load and 'PumpOn' to start the pump down after equilibrium of the initial gas load is reached). These two parameters are assigned to specific facets.
2. Then the model and simulation setup is saved (within a ZIP-file as given by the standard configuration).
3. If the file is closed and reopened I discovered first that the simulation results were completely different and wrong compared to the model I originally defined. A closer investigation revealed, that the parameters (either during file saving or opening) I assigned changed:
The facet with the parameter 'Gas' assigned to it, now had parameter 'PumpOn' assigned to it; the facet having 'PumpOn' assigned to it now was linked to '[catalog] dirac_burst.csv' which is given as a preset in the parameter editor. All facets with no parameter assignments were correct.
Is there anybode else, which disovered this same behavior? Is there a simple remedy for it? Especially for more complex models it would be great, if parameter assignments don't need to be corrected after loading the file.
Does anyone using the linux version discover the same issue? I have a Linux environment available as well, therefore switching to Linux for Molflow simulations won't be a problem.
I'm using version 2.7.7 (2707) on a Windows 10 64-bit.
Many thanks and best regards
Alex
