The cursor still showing as a facet select cursor after hitting vertex select button

In the latest version 2.9.24 Mac Arm the cursor will still display as a facet selector after hitting the vertex button. It does selects vertices, not facets, as it should. This bug is intermittent.

Normally you have the V when hovering over the geometry, and you don’t have it when hovering above GUI elements (i.e. windows). I’ll watch out for intermittent bugs!
