"Wrong integer format" on STL import

I am trying to import an STL file into Molflow+ 2.9.4 (beta) and it is consistently coming up with the error “Wrong integer format (line 2).”

The file is in ASCII format so that is not the issue, I have tried playing around with the numbers on line 2, removing scientific notation etc. and the issue still persists.

Edit: This bug persists for both “load” and “Insert”

Hello Dan,

There are a few things to do:

  • Please check with the latest version, 2.9.6: Releases · molflow_synrad / molflow · GitLab
    Although this is not likely to solve the issue, as I don’t remember changing STL loading recently.
  • If still the same, please let me know which OS you’re on, and, if not confidential, attach the file here (or send by private message) and I’ll take a look.
